8 year old Rafaela is the only girl of six children. They live in the favela Rocinha, a giant hillside slum in Rio. The mother Andrea supports the family by cleaning bathrooms at a shopping mall across the street, a twelve- hour shift every other day. The father is around, but provides little for the family.
